Neighborhood Services believes that participation in the community enriches the quality of life for each person we support. We assist associates with cultivating their interests and social relationships while sharing their gifts with the community.

Neighborhood Services encourages individual choice in the type of activity or level of participation for each associate. Opportunities for community involvement include:

• local park districts and YMCA’s
• volunteer opportunities
• religious activities
• developing personal relationships and friendships
• civic and community organizations
• enjoying leisure activities
